I love this flat iron. I have natural hair which is very wavy and it made my hair silky straight and shiny. This flat iron is better than any other I have ever had and on top of that it's cute. Well worth the price!

I have had this straightener for about a year, and I love it so much! it's cute, and it gets the job done fast. although it does not withstand humidity and I live on the east coast, which is almost ALWAYS humid. also it gets some buildup but you can clean it right off. all my friends love it, because it gets any hair type straight and shiny. I'd recommend it, if you aren't going to be in the humidity for a long time. oh, and when I ordered this I did not get my free pouch.
Thrilled, great mid-price flat iron.

Okay, so the color is really funky, but don't let it deter you. The photos are proof enough - my hair actually is in desperate need of a trim since I have dead ends from my old hair iron, so this photo doesn't even do the Solia justice.
Buy it. Seriously. I have dense, extremely curly hair that is both dry and sensitive. The Solia gets hot enough to straighten sections in one pass.
You won't regret it!

This is probably my favorite flat iron ever. I have had it a few years already (since it first came out !) and it still works. It makes my hair so shiny and smooth, I love it. :D
Also, you should get this offer now because it comes with a free 2 year warranty. This is an amazing product, and I reccomend it to all my friends and family. And I am obsessed with my hair, so I only like to use the best products. Thank you Solia for making such an amazing product. I have 5 of these at my house, and about 10 to give to family and friends for presents.

I recently bought this solia flat iron to replace a Chi I had previously that was getting pretty old. I must say, it is MUCH better. My hair is mildly curly and very fine, so straightening was never the issue... but shine was. The tourmaline in this flat iron leaves my hair looking totally shiny and beautiful. Also, my hair has been lifted about 6 or 7 levels and most flat irons make it look dry... This one did a beautiful job. At this price, you simply can't beat it. See picture below:

Okay, so I was blessed enough to win this iron while following @folica on Twitter. Although I was super excited about it, I didn't have to worry about writing an objective review because this iron is fabulous!
Pros: Heats up super quickly ( < 30 seconds ); love the color, so girly; never pulls hair; straightens perfectly in two swipes; no crispy, fried ends; long cord.
Cons: None so far!
This iron is absolutely wonderful! I have super unruly, natural curls that are high maintenance. I love straightening my hair, and with this iron, it *stays* straight! It will kink up if I'm caught in the rain, but otherwise it won't curl again until I shampoo it.
Thank you Soila & Folica for this great gift!
PS: Products are just as important as your iron! If your hair won't stay straight in humidity, try using a different or better product(s) geared toward anti-humidity.

i've had this iron for two years and it still works amazingly well! no problems at all and i unfortunately don't even take very good care of it! (i always wrap the wire around). recommend to all.

I received my Solia last Christmas. It worked wonders as soon as I took it out of the box and it works just as well today. My hair is thick and long and kinda course. But after using it my hair was soft and very shiny. Everyone at school always compliments me on my hair and loves playing with it. The iron doesn't snag my hair and is feels really smooth. It straightens and applies heat to the very bottom and doesn't burn my hair or leave it feeling dry. plus it heats up so fast! So if I need to do a touch up or forget a section in the morning, I don't have to wait around for it to heat up. It only has a few minor down sides. Because it is so smooth the plates get dirty fast so you should clean it after each use. And if not wrapped properly, the cord will get tangled and twisting which may cause the wires inside to bend and break and could be dangerous. One more thing, NO iron completely straightens in one swoop. This one is no different. But you don't have to run in through a section more than twice. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

i bought the pink one coz i thought it was cute and becoz of all the reviews i read...when i tried it,it was awesome it heated up real fast,and even though my hair is thick i only fnished my hair in 20 minutes.my other hair iron takes me 40 to 45 minutes...solia is awesome....

I've had the Solia for a few days now and I threw out my old one because this one is soo much better! It straightens my hair in 6 mins. when before it would take 20, but it's not as sleek as I would have liked it so I'm just gonna add some product in it. As for curling I LOVE it! It works wonderfully as a hair curler and I just adore the way my curls bounce! Overall, I would recommend this flat iron to anyone I know! (I almost actually bought the CHI until I read how horrible the reviews were, so I'm thankful for folica presenting different brands.) Must admit, the pink color got to my heart and it's beautiful! Also another bonus is that you can always change the temperature, and you can't in the CHI. So please try this out!! LOVE IT!

I live in the south and it's very humid here in
the summer time, mix that with curly hair and
you have a DISASTER.
This straightner works very well to make my hair straight,
but it doesn;t stand in the humidity. It usually flips in or waves.
I have used this in the winter and it's AMAZING.
So, If you live in non-humid parts of the world-
I would reccomnd this 100%.

I have suddenly gotten super poofy, curly hair. I could never get it straight with my old drugstore straightener. I would just let it air dry. But, I decided I needed a new, nice one.
After researching, I decided that Solia would be the best choice. And I was sure right! It does take awhile to heat up, but it works nicely.
Now, I have soft, smooth, straight hair.
Also, some people complain the plates don't meet correctly. I do not have that problem. I do have thick hair, so that may be why they meet.
Makes my hair so much smoother!

I have nothing but good things to say about this iron.
I have had it for a month, and it works so well. It heats up quickly, and my hair is so much healthier and shinier after use.
I have very thick, wavy (almost curly) hair that is very hard to manage, and this is a lifesaver. It even keeps my hair pretty straight in very humid weather (80%) It is a little harder to straighten in humid weather. but it stays straight.
It takes me 10 minutes to do, which is not a lot of time, considering I have so much hair. I would advise anyone who is considering buying it to get it. It works!

My friend and I (both in the picture) own and use pink solia straightening irons! It works great and really won't do any damage to your hair as long as you keep it at a reasonable heat and use the right hair products (you can ask a salon what would be the best for your hair). I would highly recommend this to anyone! If you want shiny, healthy, gorgeous, and straight (or curly) hair then you HAVE to buy this iron! Enjoy!

I cannot say how excited I was to use this iron! This is my first higher end iron, and after doing research, I decided this was the best value.
My hair is very thick, very wavy. It is the waviest it could possibly be, it is nearly curly. I had a previous iron, a Remington Wet2Straight, which I do not advise getting.
This iron glides through my hair, and it does not pull or tear my hair.
This iron is light, has a nice feel to it, and the plates are pure ceramic. I also love the color! It is a teeny bit lighter than in the picture, but even the cord is pink! The numbers on the iron are a little tricky to see, but that is my only problem.
Also, mine does not have a gap in the plates when closed.

My daughter has very curly hair that is impossible to get and KEEP straight. As soon as she steps outside it would curl back up and would take 2 hours to get straight in the first place. This eliminates all that. I do not even dry her hair. I just let it dry naturally then use the solia and it comes out completley straight. This is great since she has to wear it that way for dance competitions. Solia saves me lots of time and frustration.

I have had my for over a year now! I love it! It heats up quickly!!! Just be sure to get your fingers out the way! I have NO hair breakage! If I want to straight it's straightens! If I want big curls, it gives me big curls! If I want spirals, it gives me spirals! WAY BETTER THAN CHI!!! I have been recommened this for all my girlfriends!!!! This picture is what I did with my hair with this flat iron!!!I did this ALL by myself!!! My Solia is my best friend her name is DIVA!!! Literally!!!!

I just received the pink 1'' Solia flat iron. It works outstandingly. My old flatiron was hot tools, and I used to have to go over the strand about 10 times before it would get really straight. But with my new flat iron from folica, all I have to do is go over it once, and it is pin straight! You will not regret buying this flat iron.

i totally love it! i have three straightneres in total and this one is the best. i mean i can do everythnig with it and it doesn't take as much time to do it as other straighteners does. IT STAYS FOREVER!!
