Bikini season is only weeks away, and Tend Skin, a product that reduces razor bumps, bumps, ingrown hairs and razor burn, has become a hot commodity at skin-care salons. It's a clear liquid that's swabbed onto the bikini line before and after waxing, shaving, and electrolysis..."
Directions: Men We strongly advise using a fresh sharp razor, be it single or double edge, and replacing it after one or two shaves. Clippers can be used, however you will not get as smooth a shave. Applying before shaving will decrease the burning and itching associated with PFB. You will find your own pattern of use. To avoid eye irritation, do not "splash" on to face! We recommend a cotton ball. For men who have unsightly razor burn on their necks, or redness from wearing a tie, applying Tend Skin after shaving should clear the skin, usually in a matter of hours. Daily use will prevent the problem. Women For use with electrolysis: Applying before electrolysis will help protect the skin during the procedure. Applying after electrolysis will quench the burning and reduce the redness within minutes. Applying several times weekly will reduce ingrown hair formation For use with waxing: applying Tendskin before waxing will "ease" the wax "pull". The hairs will "feel" loosened. Then apply after waxing to reduce redness within minutes, and the next day you should not have post-wax Method of application: Tendskin may be applied with a cotton ball or with the fingertips. Rinse hands after use. The product may be rubbed on thus acting as a cleanser. It also acts as an astringent for oily skin. To avoid irritation to the eyes, do not "splash" on when applying to facial area. I'm not sure how or why this product received the Best Of Folica stamp, but this product is a total waste of money. I went through 2bottles thinking and hoping it will improve with time. NOT! my skin was flaking where I applied the product, but I still had the dark spot and the in grown hairs continue to irritate. The product BURNS and make the skin EXTREMELY dry for no good reason. I could have just brough a .99 bottle of alcohol and would have got the same results and save myself 40.00 because I brought 2bottles at 20.00. I am so disappointed, Tend Skin is a really good product, you just have to be patient and use consistently. It's definitely not an instant fix. My boyfriend had the worse case of razor bumps and ingrown hairs I've ever seen, and in just a year his skin is flawless. There were some frustrations because the product does cause your skin to peel but that's apart of the healing process. Although the product can be pricey, a little goes a long way. I highly recommend this product for men of color. i bought this product cause it seemed to have good reviews and i constantly get razor burn and such. THIS PRODUCT BURNS!!!!!! They tell you to use after shaving, but how is that possible when the main ingredient is alcohol and you feel like your skin is burning off??? Tend Skin works well for ingrown hairs and razor bumps. It really dries out the skin. It didn't heal the bikini scars. So I stopped using it. It was really strong, so a moisterizer applied afterwards is a MUST. I've used this product after shaving, after epilation and after waxing (in different areas) and it irritates my skin more than it helps with the ingrowns and bumps. I kept using it hoping it would eventually get better but it didn't. I used another product in the past that is discontinued and that one didn't irritate me at all so I don't think it's me.
